The company’s largest product
Codex was one of the most important and largest products within the company. As a full-time employee at Gjirafa Inc., my role was Lead Product Designer, where I was responsible for driving the company’s vision and ensuring alignment with the client’s requirements and company goals.
Four things to fix
Improve workflow — because Dev and Design team were not synchronized, the overall design was outdated and not consistent.
Ensure design consistency — lacking of design consistency and overall brand identity across all of our products.
Improve UX and user satisfaction — given that the design was outdated, user satisfaction did not fully meet their needs. The goal was to create a more user-centric design.
Improve UI based on a new DS — one of the key factors that affected the overall look and feel was the lack of design consistency. To address this, we developed a new multi-branded design system.

I was directly involved in key areas of the project, including workflow improvements and collaboration, design consistency, and design system development.
Key improvements and integrations
Theme implementation — we’ve successfully integrated our new design system within Codex and implemented the theme for this product.
Updated navigation flow — one of the key areas that needed improvement was the navigation flow, browsing experience, and app shortcuts.
Implemented new features — in some areas, we’ve updated features to ensure user satisfaction and added new ones to improve the overall UX.
